Fracking Article
- Fracking releases natural gases
- Natural gases could put a risk into the drinking water
- Gas migrates from fracking shell
- Dierectional can trun the drill 90 degrees
- EPA orders companies to provide clean water to its victims
- The U.S has 827 trillion cubic feet of gas
- Water in some states are foul or are ignited
- This is enough to last for a decade
- 75% of water blasted down coming back up
- Huge ponds or tanks are needed for flowback water
- Large amount of water is needed for difectional drilling
- Drilling companies have access to 85% of state portions
- 4 million gallons of water is needed for a single lateral
- 15000-16000 of chemicals are needed for fracking
Summary:
Fracking is a way of getting natural gases from the Earth to use as a power source for things. This method includes drilling and milions of gallons of water. The water is released into the tunnels of the drilling then releasing the gas out of the ground. The U.S has said to have 827 million cubic feet of gas from this technique. The problem with this is the people, natural gases get into our drinking water and the nearby residents. The toxins in the water causes the water to be ignitable and dangerous to drink. Another problem is that it requires a large amount of water to be executed in the first place.
Reflection:
Fracking is not good for our health, earth, and environment. Although it does obtain the natural gases that we need to power our homes and drive our cars, it is not good for the Earth and the drinking water that gets contaminated by the riding of the gases. My thought on fracking is that there should be a better alternative to extracting natural gases from the ground.
So What?
Fracking is bad because it disrupts the Earth, ground water, and plates.
What if...? fracking was a more safe process?
We wouldn't need to worry about any issues.

What does this remind me of?
It reminds me of the destruction of human beings.
